Health Camp and Orphanage Visit

Program: Orphanage Visit and Health Camp

Place: OCRC (Orphan Children Rescue Center) Duwakot, Bhaktapur

Rotaract Club of Tripureswor organized an orphanage visit program on 17 November 2007. With the fund collected from the Deusi program, the club handed over some useful materials to the orphanage. The club also conducted vision screening, health camp and sanitation program at the orphange. The club highly extolls program coordinators Rtr. Yamuna and Rtr. Dipika for their excellent work. Also the club is highly grateful towards the doctors who gave their valuable time for this nobel cause. And of course, the club thanks all the rotaractors for their wonderful participation.

Deushi Program

Rotaract Club of Tripureswor organized Deusi Program on the auspicious occassion of Depawali 2064. The club played Deusi at the residents of our eminent Rotrarians. The fund raised by this program has been used for social cause.

Vision Screening

Program: Vision Screening of School Children
Venue: Vishwa Niketan High School, Tripureswor

Rotary Club of Tripureswor and Rotaract Club of Tripureswor organized a “vision screening” program for school children at Vishwa Niketan High School in Tripureswor on 28 September, 30 September and 1 October 2007. There were 953 students who participated in this program. In the first day of the program (28 Sep 2007), Rotaract Club of Ktm Mid-Town also participated. They screened 262 students and found 28 referral cases. In total 87 students were diagnosed with vision problems who required immediate medical attention. The club provided assistance for initial check up at Nepal Eye Hospital for 23 students on 3 October 2007. And for the remaining students, the club requested the school administration of Vishwa Niketan High School to inform the parents of the students with vision problem to take their children to an eye hospital as soon as possible.

Rotary Club of Tripureswor and Rotaract Club of Tripureswor organized a “vision screening” program for school children at KERIC Academy Boarding School in Balaju on 11 October 2007. There were 120 students who participated in this program. Among the screened students one student was diagnosed with vision problem and required immediate medical attention. The club requested the school administration to inform the parents of the student with vision problem to take her to an eye hospital as soon as possible.
