5th Instalation Ceremony

Rotaract Club of Tripureswor celebrated its 5th installation ceremony on 18th july,2009 which installed its new President 'Sunil K.Karn' for the rota year 2009-10. This ceremony also valued the successful leadership of Outgoing President 'Rabin Marratha' for his outsanding contribution in the rota year year 2008-09.The ceremony was held at the premise of Apex College .This ceremony was attended by a total of 115 rotaractors and 39 guests in total.The Chief guest for the program was DG (2008-09) Rtn Tirth Man Shakya.The other dignities present were president of Rotary Club Of Tripureswor ' Panchkumari Manandhar' , DRR Girish Bilas Joshi , IPDRR Mr.Anil Shrestha , APDRR U.P. Lamichane , M/s Durga Rijal (director, Apex College) and many more.This ceremony also installed its BODs and new members for the rota year 2009-10.

2nd District Assembly 2009

Rotaract Club of Tripureswor joined the 2nd District Assembly organized jointly by RC Jawalakhel Manjushree and RC Kasthamandap, held at St. Xaviers school premise on dated july 4th,2009.This rotaract new year was actively participated by all the newly elected board members by going through their respective training sessions as per their designation.A total of 20 Rotaractors of Tripureswor, 2nd highest by participation, joined this ceremony.

Rotaract Rafting Fest 2009

Rotaract club of tripureshwor organised " The Rotaract Rafting Mela" , a charity program for the welfare of the orphan childrens of "OCRC(orphan child rescue center)" on june 20th, 2009. Some 137 rotractors participated in this mega event to make it a grand successs.This program was also supported by the host college " Apex College". This program was coordinated by Rtr: Sunil Karn.

OCRC Visit 2009

Rotaract Club of Tripureswor visited OCRC (Orphan Child Rescue Center), an orphanage at Duwakot, Bhaktapur on 4 April 2009. The club donated a computer and some stationary to the orphanage with support from Apex College. Further, the club arranged for a medical check up for the children in the orphanage. The program was coordinated by Rtr. Sunil Karn and 31 Rotaractors participated in the program.

41st Rotaract Anniversary Celebration

On the auspicious occasion of 41^st rotaract anniversary, a lighting Program was organized at Basantapur Durbar Square, Kathmandu on 21^st

March 2009. The program was jointly organized by rotaract clubs of zone V and VI.

The program was inaugurated by chief guest Rtn. Panna Ratna Tuladhar, President, Rotaray Club of New Road City. District officials including IPDRR, District secretary, ADRR and DRRN were also present as guest. Altogether about 200 rotaractors, Rotarians and interactors from various clubs of Kathmandu Valley as well as from outside the Kathmandu valley participated in the program. The participants enjoyed lighting of 2009 palas and wished for world peace and long live of rotaract.

15 seconds silent invocation was observed and toast was proposed for world peace and long live of the rotaract. The program started at 5:30pm and ended by 7:30pm. The program also had special guest Rtn. Peggy from California rotary club.

Participation in Tree Plantation Program

Rotaract Club of Tripureswor participated in the Tree Plantation Program organized by Rotary Club of Tripureswor at Ranibari on 23 August 2008. Around 100 trees were planted at the plantation venue.
